Pearls Are Back And They're Here To Stay

News flash. Pearls have made a major comeback in the past few months, and I’m living for it.
In the past month or so, I’ve noticed that pearls are quickly becoming a massive trend. Jewelers have taken this classic stone and modernized it into something that is feminine yet trendy, and perfect for daytime wear. In my opinion, fashion these days is all about disregarding any “rules” and adding unique elements to classic styles. Some of my favorite pieces at the moment are made from organic looking, non-conforming shapes and sizes. They’re not symmetric, and they’re not just for around the neck. Think rings, earrings, hair pieces… even shoes. Pearls are in the process of a major revamp, and they’re here to stay.
Luv AJ and Adina’s Jewels are two of favorite online jewelry boutiques at the moment. Both sites carry stylish jewelry that is both unique and on trend. You can find a lot of reasonably priced pieces here without having to compromise. For accessories, I really love Zara. They do a great job at modernizing classic styles all while keeping everything really chic and trendy.

If you live in the Los Angeles area, stop by the Melrose Place Farmers market (open Sundays from 10am-2pm), or the Rose Bowl Flea Market (every second Sunday of the month). At both places, you’ll find local vendors selling unique pieces that are right on trend. Price points at places like this definitely vary, but you can definitely find reasonably priced pieces.
