My Story

I was born in the San Fransisco Bay Area, where my family owned an art gallery, and I spent the first few years of my life in and around the art world.  I guess you could say that this sparked a bit of a passion in me, and whenever I am emersed in the art scene, I am taken away.

At 5 years old, my family picked up and moved to Sun Valley, Idaho – a beautiful town nestled within tremendous mountains. I was really shy as a child, and had a hard time adjusting to my new home at such a young age. So, in an attempt to get me to step out of my comfort zone a bit and meet some friends, my mom signed me up for figure skating lessons. I quickly fell in love with the sport, and began competing at age 6. While I remained pretty reserved throughout elementary school, figure skating provided me with a wonderful creative outlet. As soon as I was on the ice, I could let loose and express myself in a completely different way. I fell in love with the sport, but more importantly, I fell in love with the freedom that I felt when I was performing on the ice. It was here that I learned to embrace myself as a creative.

As much as I enjoyed growing up in a small town, I always yearned for something more. While I love the laid back lifestyle that this town offers, I feel the most at home and alive in the city, where I can submerge myself into a creative, upbeat lifestlye, and truly explore my fullest potential.

I started this blog back in August of 2016, just after graduating high school, and since then, I've had the change to live in both Los Angeles and New York (two of my absolute favorite places). Although so far, my experience has been far from "conventional", I've learned a lot along the way, and have so enjoyed sharing with you readers.
