January Favorites
February 5, 2017 -
February has officially arrived, and it’s time to kiss the January blues goodbye. While January isn’t my favorite month of the year, it definitely wasn’t that bad, and I did have the opportunity to try out some new products, many of which I’ve come to love. Here are a few of my favorites from the month.
~ Arbonne FC5 Eye Cream ~
I have really sensitive skin, and especially during the colder months of the year, I tend to get dry around my eyes. Since I returned home, I’ve been looking for a moisturizing eye cream, and happened to stumble upon this one. It is extremely moisturizing, and perfect for those colder months of the year.
~ Diptyque Bais Candle ~
I am absolutely in love with candles, and probably get a little too excited when I get a new one. This month, I received the diptyque bais scented candle, and am in love with it. It is so fresh smelling, and will fill up any space with the most wonderful scent.
~ Dior Show Iconic Overcurl Mascara ~
Recently, I’ve been looking for a new mascara that really enhances my eyelashes. I was looking for something that both lifted, and added volume to my lashes, and the dior show iconic overrule mascara does just that. My eyelashes are really long, but they are pretty straight and thin, and in the past have had trouble holding a curl. This mascara is honestly a lifesaver for me, and makes my eyelashes look 100 times better!
~ The Girl on the Train ~
One of my new years resolutions was to start reading more, so at the beginning of January, I read The Girl on the Train. If you haven’t read it already, I highly recommend it; it really is a page turner! This book is perfect for someone who is trying to get back into reading, because it really is a quick read.
~ Tartlette In Bloom Clay Eyeshadow Palette ~
This palette is definitely a must have for me. It has such a nice selection of warm toned colors, and there is so much that you can do with this palette. I’ve loved playing around with different looks over the course of this month.
~ Flowers ~
Okay. I know that this one is a little bit weird to put in a favorite’s post, but let me explain. January definitely isn’t the most pleasant month of the year, especially where I am from. It tends to be really cold and dark, so flowers are the perfect way to add some life back into your living space, and brighten up the area. During this time of year, I’ve come to love decorating my house with different types of flowers; it serves as a lovely reminder that spring is just around the corner!
