My Morning Routine: 5 Tips For People Who Hate Mornings

REAL TALK — I’M NOT A MORNING PERSON.

But in the recent years, I’ve learned to be one. I’ve found that on the days that I do manage to get up early and get my day going, I feel so much more productive. I work a full time job and have to be up early during the week, but I know that a lot of you readers are on summer break, and don’t have tons going on in the morning. Whether you’re just wanting to add a little bit of extra structure in your life, or need to get up early for school or work, these 5 simple steps will really help you out in the morning.

Travel Diary: Shanghai, China

Finally getting around to sharing my pics from my trip to China back in March, 2019. I’ve been meaning to put this blog post together literally since the day I got back, but Ive been so busy with school and work this semester, that I just haven’t had the time!

Quick Update

It’s been a while since I’ve had a moment to actually sit down and write a long blog post. If I’m going to be completely honest, I feel like my blog has been, and still is going through somewhat of a transformation. Back in 2016 when I first created this site, it was more or less of an online diary.

2018 Holiday Gift Guide

With Christmas Day just around the corner, it’s officially crunch time. For those of us who aren’t so ahead of the game, these last couple of days before christmas can get a little bit hectic, and we can find ourselves running around like mad men trying to come up with some last minute gifts.

A Year In New York

I’ve always loved New York. Something about the city buzz — that unique energy that is so apparent there — has always pulled me. Summer in Sun Valley

I've spend the past couple of weeks in Sun Valley, ID, spending time with family and enjoying what this place has to offer. While the town is small, there's no shortage of things to do. From finding hidden gems and taking in the scenary, to eating out at delicious restaurants and attending local events here's what my past couple of weeks have looked like...

Back At It

So… it’s been a minute since I last posted, and if you’ve followed me for a while, you also probably noticed that I’ve changed things up on this site quite a bit. I started this blog almost two years ago in August, and have been working hard ever since to familiarize myself with the blogging world (learning all about the ins and outs of what it take to own and manage a functioning website).

Chance By Chanel

Recently, while on a little shopping spree, I happened to pick up Chanel’s Eau Tendre perfume, and I must say, it’s my new obsession.  I’m usually not the one to go crazy over a perfume as I am actually quite sensitive to smell, however, this fragrance is perfection.

What Makes You Tick?

Choosing to take this semester off from school was a huge decision to make, and while ultimately, I think I made the right choice, there have been difficult aspects to it.  For the first time in my life, I no longer define myself as a student, and have had to reestablish myself in my own community, apart from my close friends.  Stripped completely of who I once was, I have been left with a chance to redefine myself, and choose who I want to be.

January Favorites

February has officially arrived, and it’s time to kiss the January blues goodbye.  While January isn’t my favorite month of the year, it definitely wasn’t that bad, and I did have the opportunity to try out some new products, many of which I’ve come to love.  Here are a few of my favorites from the month.
