Chatty Brunch And Exploring Soho
October 8, 2017 -
Yesterday my sister and I headed downtown and grabbed a bite to eat at The Butchers Daughter (one of my favorite spots). There, we caught up over delicious food and great coffee.
One of the reasons that I love this restaurant so much, is because of all the healthy options that it offers. Everything on the menu can be made vegetarian, vegan or gluten free, and for there are some really healthy and delicious items on the menu. My absolute favorite thing to order is the smashed avocado toast benedict, and an almond milk latte (of course)… so good! Also, if you go there for lunch or dinner, try out the butternut squash lasagna… you’ll thank me later.
After we ate, we had a few hours to kill, so we decided to walk around Soho. My sister showed me where she lived over the summer (it was a tiny “whole in the wall” apartment in Little Italy, but super cute nonetheless), and we popped into a few different shops. We ended up on the hudson waterfront, and enjoyed a gorgeous view of the city before heading home. All and all, we had a great day running around the city together!
