Travel Diary: 24 Hours in Beijing

Towards the tail end of the trip, we headed to Beijing for 24 hours. Shanghai is a really new city in comparison to Beijing so it was really cool to see the differences between the two cities. Shanghai is very hip and metropolitan, whereas Beijing has so much more history and tradition engrained in it.

My Morning Routine: 5 Tips For People Who Hate Mornings

REAL TALK — I’M NOT A MORNING PERSON.

But in the recent years, I’ve learned to be one. I’ve found that on the days that I do manage to get up early and get my day going, I feel so much more productive. I work a full time job and have to be up early during the week, but I know that a lot of you readers are on summer break, and don’t have tons going on in the morning. Whether you’re just wanting to add a little bit of extra structure in your life, or need to get up early for school or work, these 5 simple steps will really help you out in the morning.

Spring and Summer 2019 Fashion Trends You Need In Your Life

Springtime is just around the corner, and while really we’re hardly hit by winter here in LA, there’s still somthing so exciting and refreshing about this time of year — mainly because it’s time to start thinking about swaping out our oversized coats for sundresses and sneakers. Spring is one of my favorite times of year when it comes to fashion, because it’s cool enough that you can still play around with layering, but not so cold to the point where you can’t walk out the door without a coat.

Travel Diary: Shanghai, China

Finally getting around to sharing my pics from my trip to China back in March, 2019. I’ve been meaning to put this blog post together literally since the day I got back, but Ive been so busy with school and work this semester, that I just haven’t had the time!

Quick Update

It’s been a while since I’ve had a moment to actually sit down and write a long blog post. If I’m going to be completely honest, I feel like my blog has been, and still is going through somewhat of a transformation. Back in 2016 when I first created this site, it was more or less of an online diary.

It's All About Accessories

When it comes to styling outfits, it’s so easy to focus on just the clothes, but recently, I’ve discovered that it really is all about accessories. I’ve found that jewelry, hair pieces and eye wear are just as important as a cool top or pair of jeans. Accessories are the perfect way to add color, texture and dimension to a look.

Winter Skincare Routine

Winter is the hardest time of year for me to maintain healthy, hydrated skin. Over my holiday break, I spent two weeks in Sun Valley, ID. The combination of the dry climate and freeszing cold temperatures definitely left me skin in need of a little extra tlc!

My 5 Favorite Winter Trends

Over the past few months, I’ve been loving some of the fashion trends that I’ve been seeing. Growing up, I I always heard people say that fashion repeats itself, and this is the first year that I’ve really seen that saying come to life.

The Best of 2018

For the past few years, my life has been filled with lots of uncertainty and change. 2018 came with lots of growth and change, and I learned a lot over the course of this year. Here are (a few) of my favorite moments from 2018…

2018 Holiday Gift Guide

With Christmas Day just around the corner, it’s officially crunch time. For those of us who aren’t so ahead of the game, these last couple of days before christmas can get a little bit hectic, and we can find ourselves running around like mad men trying to come up with some last minute gifts.

A Year In New York

I’ve always loved New York. Something about the city buzz — that unique energy that is so apparent there — has always pulled me. While I grew up in a small town, from a very young age I knew that eventually I would end up in New York. I didn’t know when or how, but I just knew that it would happen.

Two Years

Two years ago exactly, on September 2, 2016, I started this blog. At the time, I had just left my hometown for college, and thought that starting this site would be a great way to document a new chapter in my life.

Summer in Sun Valley

I've spend the past couple of weeks in Sun Valley, ID, spending time with family and enjoying what this place has to offer. While the town is small, there's no shortage of things to do. From finding hidden gems and taking in the scenary, to eating out at delicious restaurants and attending local events here's what my past couple of weeks have looked like...

Hawaii Travel Diary

To kick off July this year, I escaped to the Big Island for the perfect mid-summer getaway. I had the best time indulging in delicious seafood, spending way too much time in the sun, and kicking it back with my family.

Simple Space, Simple Life

I recently relotated from New York to Los Angeles, and have been super busy over the past month runnign around and getting all moved into my new place. After moving around a lot over the past few years, and living in dorms for the most part,

Back At It

So… it’s been a minute since I last posted, and if you’ve followed me for a while, you also probably noticed that I’ve changed things up on this site quite a bit. I started this blog almost two years ago in August, and have been working hard ever since to familiarize myself with the blogging world (learning all about the ins and outs of what it take to own and manage a functioning website).

Mood Board | April 2018

Recently, I’ve been really into creating mood boards. I’m a creative thinker, so for me it’s a great way to organize and visualize my thoughts. Whenever I’m online, I find myself browsing through tons of different websites, and placing the most random
